What are the Algorithms
The Algorithmsallows for simple and intuitive building of business rules that are subject to change, and then allows you to manage the rules in response to changing business conditions. Thanks to this, it is possible to easily adapt the system operation to the changing business and organizational needs over time.
Building algorithms is done using a graphic designer.
The Algorithms allows you to:
- separate business rules from the rest of the system,
- create and modify business rules using a graphical work environment,
- verify the functioning of the rules at their design stage - this is carried out by running the rules after providing input data and tracking the values calculated in individual steps of the algorithm,
- analyse the effects of modification of business rules - this is carried out by enabling automatic execution of a set of previously prepared business tests and comparing their results to the results of the previous version of the algorithm,
- use the rules of extensive configuration tables containing sets of predefined execution and operation parameters of algorithms,
- break down complex business rules into smaller elements and reuse them,
- use hierarchical data structures and lists with business rules,
- publish business rules in the form of web services, which allows the use of defined rules by various systems, unification of rules in the organization and their management in one place,
- very fast calculate rules by compiling them to the object code.
Above is the example of an algorithm - using the table for a specific vehicle, the percentage of the discount is given and the final value of insurance is calculated.
The use of algorithms in the system:
- Decision making (modelling).
- Business configuration of the system using multidimensional tables.
- Construction of rating and scoring engines, system operation control (commission grids, setting debt collection actions to be taken).
