Available main functionalities

By means of Data processing, it is easier to solve real-world business problems by creating task hierarchies and processing packages of reasonable complexity.

A number of functions for data handling can be implemented.

Typical application:

  1. updating databases/creating data warehouses,
  2. managing database structures,
  3. managing data:
  • integration of systems on the data level,
  • mass control of business processes (e.g. workflow-based),
  • preparing data for exploration,
  • extracting information for the purpose of bulk reporting (e.g. to BIK S.A.).

Task Hierarchy functions:

  1. controlling tasks in a dependency network, maintaining state and restoring after failure,
  2. mass update of data,
  3. copying and retrieving files (from/to databases, FTP, disks),
  4. BULK loading data from files and/or databases,
  5. reporting large, flat data sets,
  6. triggering data processing packages.

Data processing functions:

Performing more complex data transformations from many sources to many target destinations.

The platform enables the business-aware (and database-aware) client to build, design own packages and also join and use other packages solving complex business needs.

  1. The Data processing can extract and transform data from a variety of sources,
  2. Such as XML data files, flat files and relational data sources. Data can be loaded into one or more destinations. Apart from a possibility of modeling fairly any data transformation algorithm, enables performing validity and efficiency tests of a created package.
  3. Tests are performed on the basis of data entered by the user and therefore the results can be easily verified. For more see: GUI tests.
