The most important changes made in the first quarter of 2021 are described below.
Single Sign-On support using AD login
If using Active Directory as a login provider, it is possible to enable the Single Sign-On mechanism, which enables the user to log in automatically without entering a login and password.
Single Sign-On logging with Windows Authentication is carried out by visiting a special website whose address is displayed on the login page (it is displayed only when this mechanism is enabled in the application).
Changing the default user provider
Starting from the current Release, applications created with VSoft archITekt are connected by default to the provider of VIP users, which is part of the installed environment.
Convenient reconfiguration of the environment
The environment installation scripts have been extended with the possibility of convenient reconfiguration of the already installed environment.
With the help of the mechanism you can:
- change the parameters of the environment,
- automatically refresh the access passwords to the database (assign new random passwords),
- emergency reset passwords for selected end users of the environment.
