The most important changes made in the fourth quarter of 2021 are described below.
Publication of the application on VSoftCloud
From the current version, applications built with VSoft archITekt can be published to a cloud environment. This functionality is available from VSoft Launcher. As a part of the project, we define, for which cloud environment, we want to publish our application.
New form action: invoke processing package
The new form action allows you conveniently launch the processing package with the required data set (both the arguments and the contents of the files to be loaded). The processing package can run in two modes: synchronous (convenient), when package execution is short (up to 20 seconds), and asynchronous, when package execution may take a long time.
Input and output data can be delivered / received as binary data (and not just paths as before). They will be effectively pushed to / from the runtime, possibly remote.
User Interface - UX improvements
From the current version, archITekt Studio designer of the User Interface for lists and forms shows the details of the most using actions directly in the action tree. It makes that, you have easy access to editing them directly from the list. Properties that have been changed by the user are presented with a different style (color).
More convenient searching in the Scheduling
In the latest version of the Scheduling application, on the list presenting the history of completed task and the rules screen has been expanded search mechanism. The rules screen has been additionally enhanced with a convenient mechanism for previewing rule details.
Data processing -new SQL Query operation
The mapping mechanism in the Data processing has been enriched with a new SQL Query operation, thanks to which it is possible to add an annotation within the mapping that will complete the data based on a SQL query to the database.
