Release 2023-Q2
The most important changes made in the second quarter of 2023 are described below.
New set of icons in archITekt Studio
archITekt Studio has a refreshed set of icons, increasing user ergonomics and making the platform easier to use.
Dragging Version Server elements onto a form
The form designer has been expanded to allow users to conveniently place elements related to other system objects on the form.
- By dragging another form or list onto the form, we place it on the form as a subform or a control displaying a list.
- When you drag an algorithm, package or workflow onto the form, a button will appear performing the action associated with the dragged object.

The form designer presents a bar with action buttons, onto which you can drag buttons from the Toolbox.
Installation scripts automatically managed failover cluster resources
Installation scripts have been enhanced to automatically register services within a failover cluster group. During installation and modification of the environment, services (windows service) are automatically included or removed from the indicated cluster group, and their startup mode is modified to be managed by the cluster.
Other changes
Below is a list of selected minor modifications made in this release:
- Unification of the mechanism for selecting and performing operations on multiple records in the list.
- A button panel preview has been added to the form designer.
- Reducing the requirements for the technical name of projects, allowing in names characters: "-" and "."
- Data grid control gets more tooltips, faster expand/collapse, better sync between expanding/collapsing of headers and data rows. Additionally rows in some places are being refreshed automatically.
- Installation scripts: The use of a three-time database connection retry pattern when performing update scripts (elimination of short-term problems with database availability).
- Added AI Assistant on List which helps writing and improving SQL queries.
- Updated icons on Formula Designer as part of a archITekt Studio layout update.
- Updated icons on Workflow Designer and Manager as part of a archITekt Studio layout update.
- Updated icons on Mappings Window as part of a archITekt Studio layout update.
- Expression text was being cut at line-leading TAB characters in expression editor.
- Optimization: removing the mechanism of creating bundles dynamically in runtime; change to creating bundles in a static way at the compilation stage.
- Remove configuration section for oracle.manageddataaccess.client; elimination of conflict with potential machine.config entries.
- Reducing the size of the index in the scheduler database: TASKS.IX_STATUS has been replaced with the TASKS.IX_STATUS_NONOK index.
- Reducing the required memory limit for activation of WCF services (minFreeMemoryPercentageToActivateService = 0).
- ASVS Level 2 compliant modifications have been made to enhance application security.
