In this path you will learn how to import data from an excel file to a database and how to download data from the database and export to an excel or xml file.

STEP 1 - READING DATA FROM EXCEL FILE​

In this step:

  1. You will create a processing package
  2. You will use the Excel Input File block
  3. Based on the selected header names You will generate a column of record and change fields types

STEP 2 - DATA STRUCTURE​

In this step:

  1. You will create the data structures for the loaded data, based on the previously created data schema

STEP 3 - SAVING DATA TO THE DATABASE​

In this step:

  1. You will use Database Writer block
  2. You will mapping of data readed from excel file to new record in Database Writer block

STEP 4 - EXPORT DATA TO FILE (EXCEL, XML)​

In this step:

  1. You will use Database Reader block
  2. You will export data to files using the export to XML and EXCEL blocks
