Form security

For forms, you can specify user groups that will have access to the form and to specific actions within it. By default, all users can access the form and its actions.

Form security is based on specifying permissions that will have access to the form. Access to a form is determined by:

  1. visibility of the form and its components, which determines whether the form and its components will be hidden or generated,
  2. the Read-Only property, which determines whether fields on the form will be available in edit or read-only mode,
  3. the Action Permissions property, which determines what actions a particular user will be able to perform.

In the case of permissions to form components, you can set the Permissions property for only one type of field - a relational data field. This causes the Change and Delete buttons to be hidden for roles and groups that are not indicated in the Permissions property.

For actions associated with form buttons, the users who will have access to them can be defined for each action separately. Adding a user to the action permissions causes the button with the action to be generated.
