Creating a document template

  Creating a document template

In order to create a document template that will be filled with data from an external application:

  1. create a data structure for a document in MS Word application using the archITekt add-in (Documents generation) (see: Creating a document data structure),
  2. insert tags into the document and define their attributes in MS Word application (see: The Tags),
  3. check the correctness of the tags configuration (see: Document validation),
  4. test document generation by entering test data yourself (see: Generating a test document),
  5. import the document template, its data structure and test data into archITekt Studio - (see Importing documents into archITekt Studio). After importing the files, you can perform further work on the template from the VSoft archITekt platform.
