What is VSoft Scheduler - Scheduling

VSoft Scheduler - Scheduling (The Task Scheduling ) is helpful in building an application that runs tasks in an periodically at fixed times, dates, or intervals or in response to an event.

The Task Scheduling can be used for:

  1. building systems for mass processing, thanks to the possibility of scheduling and monitoring the file system combined with the launch of Data processing packages,
  2. launching the components of the final application provided by the developer, performed within the defined task schedule.

Purpose of the scheduling

Scheduling allows you to perform two different types of tasks: tasks performed in response to events and recurring tasks scheduled in calendars.

The event triggering the tasks may be the appearance of a file in the directory or the a service trigger provided by the Scheduling.

The calendar for recurring events allows you to specify the frequency, days of the week or the month for the task to run. It also allows you to define a series of processes that run in specific time frame.

Scheduling allows you to:

  1. run planned tasks, including mass processing tasks,
  2. group file processing,
  3. start tasks in response to a signal received on the provided web services,
  4. track, monitor and diagnose the performance of tasks.
